This little chick wakes up every morning around 7:09 and starts chirping for her daddy or mommy to come and fetch her out of her snuggy nest. She is always happy, rain or shine, to be alive and kicking. Every day is full of promise and adventure and fun.From listening to Lily waking up half an hour later on the other side of that wall, I guess existential questions arise only later in life, around 2 or 2 1/2...

Thankyou for these pictuers of the life that bubbles along despite the absent mother. I am feeling far from my family today as I try to nurse my sore nee and my unhappy belly onto good enough shape to get through the show tonight. I think that I could use a good strong dose of Alice giggles and Lily snuggles.
