How civilized to have a day before we start in the theatre. I spent mine wandering about the streets of Copenhagen following wherever my nose took me - so delicious! Here is some of what I saw.

| Denmark is known for it's bicycles but I didn't imagine to what extent... here is one in gold at the top of a tour! |

| A construction site for a new metro. I was struck at once at how orderly it all is. Nothing like the sites that I see around Montreal. |

| This is called 'the round tower' and so it is. It is attached to a church is the oldest observatory in Europe. It is a beautiful slopping space that winds one up to the top of the tower. |

| The royal palace. The place visiting hours were over but the gardens around are there for all to enjoy. |

| What a surprise to find myself next in a tropical forest in the greenhouse of the botanical garden. I walked around a fair while outside before realiszng that all the doors are open and one can wander in and enjoy. |
