Last days in Bremen

After two months in Bremen I am still discovering favourite spots. This is the Bremen windmill that I had seen from a distance but had not quite realised how substantial it is.
Spring has definitely arrived, babies are sprouting all around. I counted 17 ducklings following this mama along.
The baby lambs have also arrived and this farm is in a huge park that I also discovered on my last days... thanks to Nadine.
This is Nadine - a friend of our friend Daniel, who has just moved to Berlin from Bremen but who still comes back to work here. we spent a very nice day together with lunch an a walk in this very freshly green park.
A last view of beautiful old city hall and cathedral.
This is my favourite house in the garden houses. It is a little hidden here but it has a sod roof and is round like a hobit's hole.
This was my major discovery. There is a little ferry that goes back and forth all day from the island to the main part of town and so connects us more directly to town rather than taking the tram or walking all the way around to the bridge.  And for 1euro 40, it's a bargain!

This is where I would like to live where I to live in Bremen.
