Colin drove us down to Vincent Massey Park, and from there we all walked on a trail following the Rideau river, heading towards the water falls. It was delightfully sunny and quiet. Zeus had a ball running in water and aiming for squirrels and ducks. The three cherubs connected with nature (see that chickadee in Alice's hand?) and exhibited feats of courage... and even instances of gallantry ;-)

Thank you Eric for posting these pictures. I am glad that you all made it back safe and dry and without loosing anyone (Alice perhaps) in the river!
It does not look like a chickadee to me...
