Chicken delight

The girls have spent a great deal of time with the chickens this summer. There is freckles, charlotte, sunny, bob, miss perfect beak, missy, princess, spot, sparkles, fatty patty, mama and of course red the rooster. The chickens are remarkably amiable, allowing themselves to be carted about for hours on end. There are four new baby chicks  that are growing like mad.

haha... as we're currently in New Denver, you probably thought this picture is of our dear Slocan Lake, where Muriel, Rachel and the kids go daily for their swim.  But no !  This is a picture from Gabriela who is currently in Italy with her boyfriend Thomas, where they are staying by the Lac de Côme with Thomas' mother and family.
